Cross over to the Mottolino side and reach Mont da la Néf (Monte della Neve) at an altitude of 2785 meters!

Upon arrival at the Mottolino cable car, take the dirt road to your right and head towards Monte Sponda, which is about halfway along the route. Continue along the slope to Mont da la Néf, where you can enjoy a splendid view over the Livigno valley. For the return journey, retrace your steps along the same route and reach the M’eating Point refuge, where you can enjoy a well-deserved lunch. Alternatively, you can have a packed lunch at the summit of Mont da la Néf and indulge in a delightful snack at the refuge! To return to town, you can take the cable car again, or if you still have energy, descend via La Corta, which leads from the refuge to the Mottolino headquarters!

This walk is suitable if you're looking for an easy hike and is also perfect for a morning or afternoon trail run. Remember to bring a windproof jacket with you as the Mottolino slope is particularly exposed to these weather conditions.
