Dimitri was born in 1985. At the age of 3 he began wearing skis and he hasn’t taken them off since. Behind him are 15 years of alpine ski racing in the Sci Club Livigno team, demonstrating entirely his great passion for snow.
Love for the mountains and the outdoor have always encouraged him to live the winter environment in all its forms and especially having fun with friends: that's how we approached freestyle skiing. Together with other kids in Livigno, when he was not busy with training among the ski poles, he used to build jumps and try them. Well yeah, because when he started there were no snowparks, as it is now!
He become a ski instructor in 2007, and decided to make his living out of sport graduating in Physical Education and Sport at University of Milan in 2011. Nowadays then he’s busy both with Centrale ski & snowboard school in Livigno and with the Sporting Club Livigno, where he teaches many sports, including cycling, football, swimming and acrobatics.
Sport is his life both for work and for pleasure. He invests his free time in travelling and visiting new places to learn more and more languages.
Dimitri is the athletic coach of the team and with them he would like to reach unexplored and far away places, maybe even in the other half of the World.
