November is the time for news for our website as well which, in recent days, got new add-ons for a more interactive navigation. Here are the main news:
Live temperatures: thanks to the new weather stations purchased in October as of today on the website it’s possible to check out live the temperatures measured in real time in Livigno both at the bottom and at altitude. The first station displays the data received from Mottolino gondola bottom terminal located at 1823 m.a.s.l. and corresponding to the village of Livigno, while the second station displays data at high altitude received from Sponda chairlift top terminal located at 2558 m.a.s.l. Temperatures are then transferred in real time to our homepage widget bar as well as to the weather-dedicated page. Thanks to this tool in the mornings it will be easy to know in a simple and reliable way how many jackets you’ll have to wear before hitting the slopes 😉
New weather section: besides the temperatures measured in real time, the weather-dedicated section on our site has been implemented. Here you’ll be able to find live data and weather forecasts to allow you a better planning of your days in Livigno. Click here to visit the page.
Ski-view: Google’s street view technology in recent years has evolved to the point of taking users to explore spectacular dephts, breathtaking climbing walls and… amazing ski slopes! A few years ago Google team was in Livigno to trace and record the main ski slopes in the resort. On the new ski-view of our website you can see the result: “ski” on some Mottolino slopes directly from your PC and start to imagine what you’ll experience when visiting us! Click here and start skiing!
New webcams: there’s no better tool to make you daydream. In addiction to the panoramic webcam, in the next few days in our ski area new live cam will be installed broadcasting from the most picturesque locations in Mottolino. We are confident that the webcam page will become your new morning-must when turning on the computer in the office.
Also on the website everything is set now. Now there’s nothing more then continuing with the dance-of-the-snow to officially give way to a new winter season (weather forecast predict a nice surprise over the weekend).
