Are you a doctor, a paramedic, a nurse or a student in this field and are you as well a winter sports lover? Don’t make commitments in the week from January 20th to 27th, 2018: Livigno and Mottolino, in fact, will be taking the lead of wemSKI, the World Extreme Medicine Conference (that is a conference about extreme medicine).

wemSKI will be the chance to meet with people who are definitely out of the ordinary, for a week of discussion and inspiration.

If mornings will be devoted to skiing or other activities offered by the area, afternoons will leave space to speeches and workshops held by personalities well far out of the ordinary.

5 afternoons of inspirational and highly emotional content will host you in Livigno: you we will be told real experiences, scenary of extreme challenges both physical and psychological, stressful situations, examples of excellence in leadership and extreme medicine, as well as many other case histories worthy of note.

Speakers include Mike Stroud, Chris Imray and Beth Healey from ESA, as well as celebrities such as the mountaineer Cathy O'Dowd, the first woman to climb Everest on both sides, Jason 'Foxy' Fox from SAS; Who Dares Wins, Eddie The Eagle (Anglo-Saxon ski jumper) and Aldo Kane.
