From kindergarten, to primary schools, kids need to see their first days of school as something memorable and fun… thet’s why, while organizing Wood’n’art, we decided to include their participation too.
5 classes, 3 schools for a total of about 100 kids who came to visit us over three half days, from Friday to Saturday: here is how the prize giving of the best sculpture voted by the public during summer 2016 went.
We managed to bring together the kids from Livigno and get them closer to Wood’n’art. International sculpture symposium organized by Vania Cusini in collaboration with “cooperative L’impronta” and Larix Park.
All the first classes of the primary schools of Livigno, during school time, thanks to the priceless collaboration of the teachers, came to Larix Park to spend some fun time in contact with nature, approaching wood carving with Vania Cusini and to the sculptures exposed in the adventure park from July.
During this fun time, the best sculpture voted by the public was proclaimed, it was Night Flight by the Russian Konstantin Evdikimov, who also came second in the jury’s votes.
The sculptures, are now going to be given to the operators in Livigno who adopted them and Wood’n’art is going to come back next year. Larix park, will be open until ctober 2nd for all of those who want to spend a day in the nature full of adrenaline. We are waiting for you!
