Walks on the mountains

Mottolino during the summer is not only bike and freeride: from M’Eating Point refuge, at the top of Mottolino gondola, start different pedestrian and mountains’ trails, with many interesting walks. These tracks, that are not included in the Mottolino Bike Park, are reserved only to trekking’s lovers. From the refuge, at 2.400 metres, you can reach the top of “Monte della Neve”, at 2.785 metres, in about 1 hour, and from here you can enjoy a wonderful view on the town of Livigno. The walk is for everyone. Other trails are jointed from the bottom of Mottolino gondola: if you want to reach M’Eating Point Refuge for a tasty lunch on foot, you can go through the “ short way” in about one hour.
 
You can buy the walking maps at the Touristic Board of Livigno in Plaza Placheda (via Saroch 1098). The touristic board apologizes if you should have some troubles on the trails: they are renewing the signs. Take all information you need before to start.
