Mottolino Fun Mountain is located in the middle of one of the largest snow centres in the Alps. In the 2011-12 season, we launched the Freeride project to offer Mottolino customers the chance to enjoy some of the stunning, fresh snow wonders that can be reached on our ski lifts.

The most famous of these is Vallaccia, a spectacular valley protected from the wind that can be enjoyed in one long, unforgettable descent that takes skiers all the way back to the Foscagno road.

Thanks to the help of 4 expert Alpine guides, mountain lovers can now enjoy a series of breathtaking off-run descents in the greatest possible safety. So all the joy of fresh snow and the wonder of unforgettable mountainscapes await you here in Italy’s own “Little Tibet”. One of the guides involved in the project, incidentally, is the great Marco Confortola, star of numerous climbs on the “over 8000m” peaks around the world.

During all freeride experiences, skiers will be provided with special Artva equipment and safety devices that can be hired at Dr. Rent ski hire.
